2.2 Cancer and Probability
This is perhaps the most important probability question to learn, so we will spend some time covering it here and then cover it again, in a slightly different way, in Section 5.2 on page 109. Imagine we have a population of 10000 people who have been tested for cancer, and we get the following hypothetical data:
