7.5 ANOVA Summary
We have just finished a rather long introduction to the ANOVA, and the -test. The next couple of chapters continue to explore properties of the ANOVA for different kinds of experimental designs. In general, the process to follow for all of the more complicated designs is very similar to what we did here, which boils down to two steps:
- conduct the ANOVA on the data
- conduct follow-up tests, looking at differences between particular means
So what’s next…the ANOVA for repeated measures designs. See you in the next chapter.
